Job Description

Currently seeking to hire an ORACLE Database Administrator (DBA) to support architecture, development, operations and maintenance including design and development of databases, performance tuning database and query designs, backup and restore, data migrations, extract transform and load implementations, implement controls to ensure security and privacy.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Bachelor of Science in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (equivalent experience will be considered).

  Certification cloud technologies e.g. Microsoft Azure or AWS is a plus.

  ship (required) and ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance.

  Secret Active (preferred).

• Support design and development of Oracle databases.
  
  
  Apply patches and upgrades and document database systems.
  
  
  Three (3) years of experience with database administration.
  
  
  Experience with basic PL/SQL programming and writing Windows batch and PowerShell scripts and Linux bash shell scripts or equivalent scripting experience.
  
  
  Experience with SQL scripting, security hardening, and database operations and maintenance Practice Infrastructure as Code best practices.
  
  
  3 years of related experience as a DBA.
  
  
  Prior experience in various scripting languages.
  
  
  Data modeling and design.
  
  
  Procedural Skills (Triggers, stored procs, functions).
  
  
  Metadata management and repository usage.
