Develop work instructions, manufacturing drawings, technical specifications, performance data and process checklists necessary to manufacture the product to meet the highest standards.
Create innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
Assist in developing the quality procedures necessary to validate the product.
Must have bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably industrial engineering).
Minimum of (5) years' experience in manufacturing industrial/process engineering.
CAD or AutoCAD experience required.
Expertise in Lean Kaizen and 5S programs in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
Should have a strong understanding of PFMEA, Error Proofing and Standard Work and Flow along with Control Plans.
5 Years' experience in Lean Manufacturing preferred.
6 Sigma certification a plus.
Define, develop, and/or acquire the appropriate fixtures/tools needed for the manufacturing process.
Collect and analyze production data to improve processes, analyze trends in equipment issues, suggest and implement corrective actions to solve manufacturing issues.
Generate project schedules and deliver monthly status reports.
Create and maintain manufacturing procedures, work and training instructions, and documentation (BOMs, etc.).
Support the efforts of Environmental Health/Training for the factory.
Participate in tracking of Safety KPI's and perform company mandated safety training. Lead safety initiatives throughout the facility.
