Implement engineered solutions to improve the efficiency and stability of the infrastructure.

Provide documentation and maintain run books.

Production support as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong administration of Unix/Linux operating systems (Red Hat, Sun Solaris).

  DNS, NTP, LDAP, Kerberos.

  Understanding of Virtual (VMware) and physical networking configuration.

  Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and provide resolution.

  Experience with EMC products - VNX, NSX, xtremeIO, etc.

  Knowledge of NAS and SAN.

  Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.

  Ability and desire to learn and work.

  independently as well as in a team.

  Project management and organizational skills.

  Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.

• Support / Manage and Install Redhat based Linux systems.

  Troubleshooting support and system performance issues.

  Handling of trouble tickets, user requests, proactive maintenance.

  Assisting application teams in the post-configuration of new servers deployed.

  Coordination with Infrastructure teams and Business IT managers to deliver projects on schedule.
