Job Description

Signature Consultants is seeking a Java Developer for an opportunity in Jersey City, NJ. Java Developer with experience designing, developing and debugging software within a project scope ensuring that the final product meets end-user acceptance criteria. The candidate must have a solid development background across multiple technical disciplines including J2EE web application development, Java client/server development, and Oracle. This position requires 5-7 years of the required experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 1. 7 to 10 years of experience as a Linux Java Application Developer with 3 years as Application Lead.
  
  
  2. Should be able to design, develop, and support application solutions with a focus on Oracle and Java architecture.
  
  
  3. Knowledge and experience of working with any of the Core Java and J2EE technologies, API SOAP, and REST Services.
  
  
  4. Strong interpersonal skills.
  
  
  5. Good analytical and business skills.
  
  
  6. Effective communication and listening skills.
  
  
  7. Willingness to learn, install, and configure Vendor product.
  
  
  8. Flexibility to handle multiple complex tasks and changing priorities.
  
  
  9. Experience is the Agile SDM methodology.
  
  
  10. Highly motivated, able to work independently
