Job Description

You will help to design, develop and manufacture advanced solar powered wireless, smart control systems, and multiple lines of drip irrigation products, battery powered irrigation controllers, and products that are for conservation and sustainable environment.

- You will participate in, and lead, a variety of projects, focused on mechanical design, molding and materials research projects.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master's degree preferred.

  - Three plus years working in a fast pace, high-pressure, manufacturing environment.
  - Hydraulics experience required.
  - Experience with complex projects, ability to analyze problems quickly, and develop corrective actions.
  - Experience in designing plastic molding.
  - Ability to work effectively and communicate across multiple levels.
  - Demonstrated success in measuring and improving processes to meet organization goals.
  - Ability to coordinate with other departments and work as part of a team.
  
  

• - Responsible for performing engineering duties in planning and designing products and other mechanically functioning equipment.
  - Planning and execution of all mechanical engineering project initiatives in conformance with the established policies and objectives.
  - Manage and execute the conception and design of new irrigation products, including CAD design, documentation, development, BOM management, and      project scheduling/tracking.
  - Use SolidWorks, drafting and CAD design to conceptualize ideas, designs, modeling of parts and assemblies, detailed drawings and exploded view       drawings.
  - Perform test data plotting.
  - Create and support product designs that fulfill company and customer goals while supporting the needs of marketing and manufacturing engineering.
  - Prepare performance curves, functional and hydraulic analyses, initial testing, and verification of part / assembly fit.
  - Evaluate design ideas based on factors such as appealing appearance, design-function relationships, serviceability, materials and methods, engineering     and market characteristics, operation, tracking and ensuring product requirements, methods of production, schedule, budget and cost constraints.
